A client recently contacted us with a problem: The company wanted to improve the quality of press releases sent out by its largely new and inexperienced public relations staff. As a solution, we created a version of Better Writing, Less Fuss that focused on writing press releases. The client later told us they had compared our course to a university continuing education course on press release writing. Tower 17's workshop had a far smaller instructor-to-student ratio, required each worker to be out of the office for less time, cost the same per capita, was focused more specifically on the client's overall goals and covered more ground.
Better Writing, Less Fuss can be tailored to fit any specific set of writing challenges, from sales brochures to real estate descriptions, and from press releases to weekly newspaper articles. Does your writer's league want to break into major magazines? Does your regional tourism board want to spend less time editing lodging and activity descriptions submitted by members? Are you an executive whose reports inadvertently put your peers to sleep? Whatever it is, we can help.
