details, details
how our programs work

Option #1:  We come to you.
Clients love it when Tower 17 comes to them.  Here's how it works.  You gather the group of people from within your company, association or regional interest group. You arrange the meeting room, based on a few simple specifications.  We talk with your group's organizer before the workshop to get a sense of your group's particular challenges and goals.  Then we come to you, and -- in the course of one, two or three partial days -- invigorate your group with one of our dynamic, results-oriented workshops.  A flat rate covers everyone who attends the workshop, whether there are three people or ten. (Special arrangements can be made for groups of more than ten people.)  Clients also are responsible for all of Tower 17's expenses, including travel and lodging.  In general, the total cost for us to come to you compares with the cost of sending everyone in your group to an evening extension course at a local university.  Contact us at info@tower17.com for specific details on pricing.

Option #2:  You come to one of our scheduled workshops.
We set the date, we pick the location, we book the workshop room and arrange lodging rates.  You come alone or with other colleagues.  Everyone who attends pays an individual fee, and is responsible for booking their own arrangements and covering all their own expenses.  This is a great option for small businesses and individuals.  Fees vary depending on workshop location and subject matter.  See Destination Workshops for updates on schedule and pricing or contact us with questions.

Option #3:  We create a customized workshop or consulting program that fits your needs, at any location you wish.

What Happens in Tower 17 Workshops:
  • Tower 17 acts as facilitator and catalyst.
  • We talk with your group's organizer before the workshop to get a sense of your group's particular challenges and goals.
  • Before the workshop begins, we tweak our curriculum to fit your group's specific needs.
  • We work in a round-table environment, and create a setting where all workshop attendees are active, engaged participants.
  • Each workshop's curriculum is built on a framework that breaks big tasks into easy-to-manage components or steps.
  • Once the steps are clear, we work together to apply those steps to your company's specific situation.
  • After we break everything down into its components, and figure out how the new tools can be applied to your group's specific challenges, we bring it all back together to address the big picture view.
  • Before we finish, we spend time strategizing simple ways for everyone in the workshop to integrate new tools and techniques into existing work responsibilities.  We realize that other workshops often lead to a big burst of enthusiasm that becomes impossible to integrate into the swift pace of normal workdays, and we do our best to make sure that doesn't happen.
